Our History

Jan E. Efraimsen, a native of Norway, is the founder and owner of Woodtronics, Inc. He started Woodtronics Inc. in 1986,( after many years of employment as an engineer at a Norwegian electronic company, Tandberg ) making jewelry boxes with a friend in the basement, moved to the garage, and then a few years later moved to an industrial space on Front Street in Yorktown heights, NY, and as business began to grow at a rapid pace, Woodtronics relocated to1661 Front Street and operates in a7,000 sq. ft. facility.
